Excavating Services
Apple Lawn Service added excavating services to the company's makeup in order to enhance our retaining wall systems and Aquascape installation services. This newly purchased equipment will enable Apple Lawn Service to perform numerous excavating tasks for our current clients, which currently encompasses both the commercial and residential community, while acquiring new clients that desire our services.

Equipment Profile
Our newly purchased equipment was selected after considering all of our clients needs and the needs that the company has faced since 1992. Equipment specifications and performance factored into our selection of a gasoline powered hydraulic mini-skid unit manufactured by the Ramrod Equipment Company. This versatile unit, while light in weight but heavy in power, enables Apple Lawn Service to maneuver in tight areas without sacrificing performance. The unit currently is configured with either a 48" or a 60" bucket that easily enables it to move large amounts of materials effortlessly. In addition it has a hydraulic backhoe attachment that effectively converts it into a mini-excavator, consisting of a 12" wide bucket that can perform underground operations as deep as 6' 6", that makes it truly an important yet versatile piece of the company's equipment profile.

In June 2005 Apple Lawn Service acquired a new New Holland LS185B to complement our existing excavation equipment. The LS185B has a lift capacity of 2500 lbs. while weighting in at 7300 lbs. Is low center of gravity and long wheelbase provides excellent stability while the two-speed transmission provides for faster travel on the job. This unit was selected from many available manufactures for its dependability and durability while ensuring driver comfort and safety while on the job. This newest unit will be utilized in our walkway and patio installations, retaining walls and lawn preparation for possible hydroseeding functions.

Requesting Equipment Service
Since the operating of excavating equipment requires a percentage of guesswork since no-one really knows what is beneath the surface Apple Lawn Service charges for our service on a per-hour basis. The client is charged for the expenses associated with the delivery and setup of the equipment on your site in addition to the skilled Apple Lawn Service operator that will perform the project that was requested to the clients specifications.
